thirty.five.weeks

We've hit the 5 week left mark! Hadley's room is nearly done and I'm starting to get antsy to meet our little girl. Harper has had 2 sleepovers with her grandparents, she's ready to go when we head to the hospital. So thankful our parents are close by to not only help but be there for us during this transition.

how far along: 35 weeks.

size of babe: 5.5 lbs., nearly 18 inches long.

sleep: some nights worse than others. getting out of bed seems to be the hardest- moving my belly from side to side.

symptoms: my midwife said she's directly on top of my bladder- thank you hadley for the 20 trips to the bathroom a day :)

best moments: harper staying at my parents for the first time- she enjoyed grammy's pancakes and snuggles as well as papa's one on one time with her. Harper staying at my in laws as well and hearing all about it the day after, sweet memories being made. my dear friend and I are 2 weeks apart and had a joint baby shower this last weekend- it was perfect. so fun and beautiful- thank you to danae, chelsea and lisa for making it so memorable.

looking forward to: we are getting more anxious to meet her as time goes by. it's all a bit surreal.

thirty.one.weeks & a name!

Now Christmas has come and gone! We had a great holiday. A whirlwind of a week, actually. After Christmas it was onto getting ready for Harper's birthday party on Sunday with family. It was a super fun day celebrating our two year old. I couldn't have done it without Andy and my mom. Picking out an outfit took way too long since I've been feeling like a cow. So thankful for them! Harper wasn't really into the presents on Christmas... But apparently it ended up being practice because she sure went for them Sunday!

how far along: 31 weeks

size of babe: 16 inches, 3 lbs, size of a small melon!

sleep: sleeping alright, it's getting hard to get out of bed. thankful for ac helping out if harp makes her way in or has a bad dream.

symptoms: loving feeling her move all day.

best moments: celebrating harp turning 2! hard to believe next year at this time we'll be prepping for another birthday... and a 1 year birthday at that.

food cravings/aversions: nothing!

looking forward to: getting her room done, almost there!

I can't believe it's over! twenty seven weeks yesterday. we had a whirlwind weekend of absolute fun. family time on thursday, rehearsal, shopping and dinner for the wedding friday, saturday primping and preparing for the greatest night, and sunday celebrating my amazing mother in law for her birthday, church, dinner with friends and home!

how far along: 27 weeks, 3rd trimester!!

size of babe: 2 pounds
