how far along: 16 weeks

size of babe: 4 inches, 4 ounces, size of an avocado.

sleep: sleeping well, waking up only once (so far) to go to the bathroom.

symptoms: i had my back worked on at the chiropractor the last few weeks, feeling better finally. still giving me some pain at night, but manageable.

best moments of the last 2 weeks: 1. harper knows where the baby is! she's a little lover and has kissed it quite a few times. i'm waiting to get it on camera so i can share, she's my heart melter. 2. i feel that little nugget inside!! usually from afternoon to evening i feel it more.

food cravings/aversions: loving pastries still... they pretty much always sound good. i'm trying to not indulge... only have cracked a few times at the store... so far :)

what makes you queasy: the thought of food after 9 pm.

gender predictions: i'm thinking boy!

looking forward to: feeling it more (my absolute favorite part of being pregnant). babies are miraculous.

round 2

i still can't believe our second little one is on it's way. i'm hoping to start a weekly/biweekly journal of the progression so i am able to look back on it at some point. we are stoked for this nugget and feel immensley blessed.

how far along: 14 weeks

size of babe: 3.5 inches long, aka a kiwi.

sleep: sleeping well for the most part, unless harper decides to wake up at an awful hour. tossing amd turning some nights, super grateful to whoever invented the body pillow. lifesaver.

symptoms: nauseous after dinner some nights and nothing ever sounds good past 7pm. probably jesus telling me to cool it on the cinnamon bears.

best moment of the week: announcing we are with child to everyone!

food cravings/aversions: loving chocolate milk and pastries. not many aversions, food in general just doesn't sound good at night.

what makes you queasy: changing harper's diapers... yuck.

gender predictions: 1 boy dream so far!

looking forward to: our next apptointment where we'll hear that little beating heart and get the order to make our gender appointment :)
