We have been busy... to say the least.
We made another offer on a home in Corvallis and the sellers pulled out right after AC and I had signed. Many things were going through my head... should we be looking for a home? Is this where God has us? Should we venture into Albany again? What do we DO?! AC and I talked. I prayed that the Lord would change my heart towards moving to Albany (I wasn't too keen on the idea, clearly) if that's where he wanted us. We decided to look at a cute little bungalow in North Albany and really liked it. It was very, and I mean very close to the drive-thru Starbucks, so it was already a hit in my mind. I checked online again that night and we decided to compare that home to another one in North Albany (still close to coffee) and fell in love. I walked in and said "uh oh, we're in trouble!" We have accepted the counter offer and have the next few steps to take on, trusting that all will go well if this is "the one."
Here it is-- We are so excited! We have been talking about paint colors (with the help of Kylie- our interior decorator), furniture arrangements, and the joy of being in our own home.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My mom turned the big 5-0 on November 23rd, so we celebrated with our extended family and had a blast. Eric, Kareena, and the girls stayed two nights and we also got to spend time with little Lilah, who is growing a ton! AC also found out she is his god-daughter, a very special honor for him and so awesome of Matt and Lisa to give him this privilege. He loves that little sweetie and I love seeing them together.

Onto other exciting news, we got our first tree this year!! I love Christmas. It is my favorite time of year and signifies oodles of family time for us, which I tend to thrive on. I just finished it tonight and am currently enjoying Christmas tunes by the light of our tree.
