a lovely week.

one of my best friends was married last weekend! it was a beautiful, fun wedding filled with lots of love. their engagement flew and that day was like a blink. i'm so happy for them, welcome to the marrieds benny and deznuts :-)

this weekend we are at the beach with andy's family. all in one cozy house with a spectacular view, God is such an artist. i'm thankful for these weekends away to bond, relax, amd relish in the beauty of creation. here's a glimpse into the last few weekends of our little life adventures!

spring.

spring has sprung at our home!

we recently got a new couch and chair in place of our sectional. it's been super nice! when i would get in my rearranging moods before, i'd end up moving the couch inches (feeling refreshed still, but limited). i have always been a huge rearrang-er. i love the change furniture can bring and would always do it when i was little. we bought new white curtains that reach to where the ceiling and wall meet, it really brightens up the space. i'm loving the feel of our living/kitchen/dining space now. i'm working on painting 10 frames white and filling them with pictures, sayings, and verses for a gallery wall. it is a little intimidating. i'll end up playing with it for awhile i'm sure before it's actually up.

these last few months for harper have been crazy growing ones. she's comprehending so much more of what we say and understanding our sentences. each stage has been so fun, i love watching her tiny personality blossom. she's been saying hi, uh oh, papa, go dog go, please, mama, and dada.

life.

the last month has been pretty busy for us.
one of my dearest friends from middle school is getting married next month, so my mom and i planned a shower for her. now it's 39 days till she's hitched, where did the time go?!

we have decided to take our first family vacay to none other than the beautiful island of maui! we truly cannot wait. among all the busyness of life and realizing we haven't taken time together (for an extended amount of time) for 3 years, we are really looking forward to it. we are going with my sister and her family, so each couple will get a few dates as well. HOLLA!!! can't wait for some uninterrupted time with my hubby.

we had harper's dedication at church in march, which was super wonderful and exciting. a blessed event having most of her family there.

easter was low key for us. we went on her first egg hunt the day before and she got a few eggs with daddy while i snapped pictures. we were able to enjoy time with both of our families on sunday.

wedding season/baby season is kicking off for us the first part of may. 2 new babes in our circle of friends and 3 weddings! i'm so excited for all the events associated that will be taking place. there's something so incredible about getting married and expanding your family, 2 of the most precious gifts this side of heaven.

harper started waterbabies with a few of her little friends. ac is doing it with her and i think he enjoyed it more than her at the first one. :) she is a busy bee these days- talking more, discovering new things, and being her silly self. we have realized she is a secret pooper, so she usually goes behind the curtains to do her biz. ha!
